Willi Smith: Street Couture

Problem

New edition print by Robert Risko, available exclusively at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum. This artwork was originally commissioned by Willi Smith in 1985. Willi first saw Risko’s work in Andy Warhol’s Interview (magazine). Risko’s drawings jumped out to Willi.  “Because I knew and adored Willi, I feel I captured his beautiful soul.”

Solution

To capture Robert Risko’s feelings, we created and color-corrected his original image using archival 10-color inkjet prints on 250GSM matte cover stock.
