Problem
Abercrombie / Hollister asked A2A to make prototype boxes and bottles for their new fragrance, Beach. The bottle and cap needed to be a custom-matched color with an applied multicolor paper label with matching carton.
Solution
Bottle and cap were sprayed a custom-matched blue directly onto the glass and metal cap. Label and box were printed 4-color process plus a matched blue 5th color. Reverse of bottle had an applied red Hollister bird. Box was matte laminated, cut, and assembled with staging for the bottle.

Embossing
Direct image printing using stochastic screening was chosen to produce the optimum gradation. Our experience in prepress is critical in choosing the best method of screening and which dot shape would work best for a project. The bottle is sprayed a metallized blue finish with an applied direct image printed label.
